For Sale: A Baldwin Hamilton Model 243 Piano.

• From the Baldwin website (http://www.baldwinpiano.com/product/verticals.html): "Quite simply, the best-selling studio model of all time, with nearly half a million pianos sold since its introduction in 1939. The 243 features Baldwin's responsive Full-BlowTM action and grand piano-like tone, due in part to a #1 bass string length that equals Baldwin's 5'8" R grand."
• We purchased the piano new from Riverton Music Inc. at 2465 North Main in Sunset, Utah on February 11, 1995. We paid $3,837.48, including tax. The serial number is 452488.
• According to The Blue Book of Pianos, the cost of a new Model 243 is $6,925.00, including the normal discount. (The suggested retail price is over $7,600.00.)
  
• We have one son who is now 12 years old. He took piano lessons for a couple of years, but now plays the guitar. It doesn't get played often enough to justify keeping it. It is a fine quality piano that deserves to be utilitized more frequently.
  
• The dimensions are are follows: 45" height; 57 3/4" width; 24 11/16" depth.
• It has a beautiful ebony (black) finish.
